

The year 2020 will not be one that many will fondly remember. As a raging pandemic has forced people to remain indoors, it’s led to many picking up their gamepads again.
And for Madden fans, the new changes brought about to the franchise to have left several wanting for more. From changes to the career mode to those in overall gameplay, Madden NFL 21 has tried to give the fans a better experience of their favorite game.

Solo career mode is back
Fans worldwide have celebrated the reintroduction of the franchise’s solo career mode. The name still remains the same as in Madden 20. Face of the Franchise. But it isn’t a continuation of the career mode from the previous installment.
Instead, the game mode with the tagline ‘Rise to Fame’, starts off with the player as a young high school QB rising through the ranks. After the school days are over, one moves on to College and ultimately the big ticket to the NFL. The Draft Combine.
Another aspect of the game that comes as a welcome inclusion is the ability to switch to WR or RB. Given the nod to a more offense-packed style of action.
New skillset system
Madden 21 introduces a new ‘Skill Stick ball-carrier system’ which allows for more customized options when it comes to offensive play. New moves such as the dead leg and slide-huddles are also a part of the latest installment of the games.
All of these upgrades offer the player a whole new dimension to add to their offense. The mastery of the right skill stick is a crucial skill needed to master the art of NFL Madden 21.

Defense gets some upgrades as well
Madden has always been a high-scoring video game franchise. But developers at EA have tried to make the playing field a bit more level. The skill stick now also helps one control pass rush moves and combos to counter opposition defenses.
The developers have made changes to tackling as well. With new introductions such as location-based, breakdown, and improved dive tackling, the game offers a more realistic experience to a gamer.

Madden’s latest inclusion: The Yard
The franchise has added a whole new game mode known as The Yard, as well. It allows a player to play a backyard pickup football style 6v6 version of the game with their favorite NFL superstars.
The mode also comes with a unique new bonus point scoring system, where a player gets a bonus point for scoring a 40-yard touchdown or making an interception.
With trick playcalls and utilizing the skill stick key to making a solid run in this game mode, The Yard sure does offer a whole new experience to the Madden franchise.

50 new superstar X-Factors added
For those who are not aware of the X-Factor, it is a bunch of added abilities for elite players to stand out from the rest of the pack. While these aren’t available throughout the course of a game, they are a handy tool in turning the odds in one’s favor.
The introduction of 50 such news X-Factors provides the user with a much more action-packed, and fast-paced Madden experience.
