Gisele Bündchen is as at home on jazzy runways as she is amidst nature. The iconic 43-year-old fashion model, activist, and entrepreneur who paused her modeling career in 2015 for Brady’s family, has bounced back with outstanding flare. The career of the second most affluent supermodel in the world has been punctuated by lucrative luxury brand associations, notably a $25 million deal with Victoria’s Secret in 2000 and over $500 million from sponsorships and endorsements. 

Following her split from the six-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, the supermodel, and mother of two, has been spotted furthering her passions. She recently added a sizable 7.5-acre property in the upscale Southwest Ranches neighborhood of Broward County to her South Florida property portfolio, which features special amenities that support an interest she shares with her daughter. 

Bündchen’s new “animal-friendly” abode

Situated on the eastern fringe of the Florida Everglades, approximately 15 miles to the southwest of Fort Lauderdale, is Bündchen’s new $9.1 million mansion. The property was previously purchased by a family of Mexican origin for $1.65 million. Over the years, it had intermittently appeared on the real estate market and was even available for rent, with rental prices reaching as high as $75,000 per month. In August, the property was listed at  $10.5 million, but acquired by Bündchen at a substantial discount.

The sprawling 7.5-acre property sports a two-story housing complex comprising nine bedrooms and bathrooms, offering nearly 5,200 square feet of living space with impressive high ceilings and open-concept interiors, complete with a separate two-bedroom guest apartment. 

Outside, the property boasts a resort-style infinity-edge pool and spa adorned with fountains, a tennis court, a full-size soccer pitch, a sports court, and a couple of pergolas perfect for relaxation and entertainment purposes. The highlight of the property is the inclusion of two equestrian rings and a barn equipped with 10 horse stalls, a kitchen, and a barbecue area, which both Bündchen and her daughter presumably intend on putting to ample use.

The supermodel’s love for the environment is long-stated, and she wishes to transform the residence into an “animal-friendly property,” complete with horses, chickens, and various other farm animals. Her passion for horse riding stemmed from the recently separated runway queen being photographed in Costa Rica with a special friend. 

Bündchen’s indulgence in Costa Rica

NFL legend Brady and the Brazilian supermodel tied the knot in 2009 and are parents to three children: a son named Benjamin, a daughter named Vivian, and another son named Jack from Brady’s previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan. Together, their combined wealth amounts to hundreds of millions of dollars. Their impressive property portfolio encompasses residences in the Bahamas and Montana, in addition to a New York City apartment where Bündchen had been residing briefly following the couple’s separation in 2022. She also maintains a vacation home in Costa Rica.

Following her divorce, while Brady has been linked with the Russian supermodel Irina Shayk, Bündchen had been rumored to be romancing jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Both were photographed on horseback in Costa Rica early in January this year. Gisele wore a casual jean paired with a green spaghetti top with her golden locks liberated. While the hunk dressed in a grey shirt and jeans engaged in casual conversation. 

The supermodel’s passion for horses is evident since she has often been spotted riding, cheering her daughter at her riding classes, and finally building a home that can accommodate their shared passion. Her new abode brings her closer to nature while maintaining a balanced, utilitarian and sustainable lifestyle.
