Damar Hamlin has been on a path of Philanthropy ever since he became a Pro Baller. Ever since joining the NFL, Hamlin has been involved in charity and giving back to his community. He set up the Chasing M’s Foundation when he was in college, back in 2020, and has seen success in raising funds. Despite his seemingly young age, Hamlin has attained what looks to be mental peace. And his efforts to attain it have been quite different than the legendary QB, Aaron Rodgers.
Aaron Rodgers sprung into the news earlier this year when he announced he was going to enter a darkness retreat. The concept of darkness retreat is to avoid light for a few days while performing yoga to go along with it. Rodgers’ intention to enter into a dark retreat was to attain peace after a tumultuous season and offseason behind and in front of him respectively. But Hamlin showed his fans and others that one can attain peace and happiness in more ways than one.

His work has been a direct response to the catastrophe he faced earlier this year, which has seen him focus on the Chasing M’s. While this ably fulfills Hamlin’s purpose, others may not see it the same way. Rodgers is one of the most contrasting images to Hamlin and his efforts to seek out a sense of peace and purpose.
