Few knew Russell Wilson better than one of his longtime friend, Trevor Moawad. The two first crossed paths early in Wilson’s career as the QB was preparing for his NFL draft. Over the years, they’d become close friends as Moawad would coach and assist the Super Bowl winner in his personal life and beyond.
Despite the loss of his dear friend in 2021, Wilson cherishes the memories they shared and continues to honor Moawad’s legacy. Recently, the Broncos star took to Instagram as he posted a story promoting a book from his dear-departed friend.

Russell Wilson promotes Neutral thinking
Although Wilson and Moawad’s relationship started out as one of a coach and a disciple. As time progressed, the two developed a close affinity towards each other which transformed them into friends and eventual business partners. Wilson may have lost his friend early and unexpectedly, he hasn’t forgotten the lessons he left him with.

In his IG story, Wilson shares a promotional picture of the book from his late friend, highlighting the power of Neutral Thinking. The quote says, “Neutral thinking asks you to see emotion aside when you make decisions, but once you’ve made those decisions, I want you to live passionately. Love, celebrate, have faith. You can do all these things while still thinking neutrally.”

The former Seattle man has adopted more than a few of his late friend’s suggestions in his life. Moawad would instill the winning mentality in the QB by telling him that he’s a winner. The support and positivity he brought for the Broncos man is still something that reminds him of Moawad. Following this, Wilson would tip his proverbial hat to show respect to his late friend.

Emotional Wilson remembers his friend on B’day
The QB shared his memory of his former friends with his 5.5 million Instagram fans on his birthday. Just 2 years since he lost his friend, Wilson has refused to let him fade in his memory as he admitted to missing him to this day. Moawad and Wilson shared a special and close relationship with each other, and it’s exemplified by the honor Wilson continues to bestow upon him.

The QB wished him a “Happy Heavenly Bday Trevor. We Miss and Love you!” a week ago. The Broncos man was surrounded by two of his closest people in the photo he posted with his wishes. His endorsement of his late friend’s book will be another moment for him to feel close to the man he lost.
