“Emergency Surgery Happening Tomorrow”: Pat McAfee Reveals Big News on Deion Sanders Surgery Amidst Concerning Health Updates

Coach Prime is undergoing some significant surgeries to address the longstanding health complications he has faced for several years. Deion Sanders‘ struggles are clear as mud to his fans, as he has consistently shown up to work amidst these life-threatening hurdles. He has been suffering from an acute deep vein thrombosis, which caused a severe blood circulation problem in both of his feet. Furthermore, this is not the first instance of him being diagnosed with the said disease that might cost him the left leg.

Two years back, Sanders had to undergo a total of 9 surgeries, which resulted in two of his toes being amputated. There weren’t many updates about his health since then. However, for the past few weeks, Coach Prime has made constant headlines regarding the same complications. Then, just today, Pat McAfee comes out with an emergency surgery update.

Deion Sanders is trying to save his leg

There were several reports recently that indicated Sanders’ recent struggles with both of his legs. It also came out that Prime could not wear shoes for an extended period of time, as it was unbearable for him due to agonizing pain. He even revealed that he had two blood clots on both of his legs. Prime’s medical team then delivered the distressing news about a potential leg amputation if the blood circulation could not be restored to a normal state. That’s why Coach Prime revealed a few days back about a possible surgery to avoid the amputation and restore the blood circulation.

The 2x Super Bowl champ hasn’t disclosed anything publicly yet about his emergency surgery. However, his very close friend, Adam Jones, who also co-hosts the Pat McAfee show, got to have a talk with Sanders before the very recent surgery that’s due today. McAfee was informed by Jones that a blood clot has been recently found in Sanders’ groin, and added, “Emergency surgery happening tomorrow,” at 6 AM.

McAfee and his other guests on the show clapped for Sanders while delivering the news and said, “We’re pulling for you, coach.” Then he quickly shed light on the fact that despite these health scares, Coach Prime has displayed remarkable dedication by consistently showing up for work.

McAfee added in the video how there are constant posts on Sanders’ or his team’s social media websites that show Sanders still dominating the field amidst these acute health scares. He even emphasized the fact that Sanders takes his job very seriously and even brought up how Prime declined to work for the NFL. The 2x Super Bowl champ refuses to do so, as he thinks he has “old school attributes” which are very tough to deal with.

The former NFL punter supported Sanders’ take and wished him good luck with the surgery. Adam Jones even joked about his conversation with Sanders and revealed he urged Prime to choose the leg instead of his genitalia if it came to that situation. The hosts were all very supportive of Sanders throughout the show, and have faith in Sanders to perform at his peak in the upcoming season.

Although it’s emergency surgery, it’s being performed to restore Sanders’ blood circulation. He hasn’t let his medical obstacles become a barrier between him and his team.
