However, an incident from their last match is catching the NFL fans’ eyes on the internet.

While they were hoping to go all the way and take home the Super Bowl, Joe Burrow and the Bengals were not going to let them get away that easily. During their divisional round face-off against Cincinnati, the Bills weren’t on their A-game. With the players’ emotions running high, sparks were bound to be ignited.

The Bills have served the NFL world with some of the most wholesome moments of the season. The close-knit bunch isn’t usually in the spotlight for disharmony amongst themselves. But that changed during their game against the Bengals. Stefon Diggs seemed frustrated with their looming divisional-round exit. One particular moment on the sidelines showcased his emotions. Arms flailing, Diggs was seen yelling at his QB Josh Allen. Alter, the receiver was herded back into the locker room after he tried to make a quick exit.

Here’s where the situation gets interesting. Bengals cornerback Eli Apple couldn’t keep to himself after his team’s triumphant victory. Not only did he indulge in a not-so-subtle spanking celebration but also called out the Diggs-Allen encounter on Twitter. The meddlesome CB said, “Someone get them in couples therapy @JoshAllenQB and @stefondiggs I’ll pay on God 🙏🏿”.  Here’s what fans had to say about Apple’s tweet.

But at the end of the day, despite their trolling, Apple is headed to the AFC Championship game with the Bengals. Cincinnati will take on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the AFC finals. The NFL world will anticipate what is beginning to look like a new rivalry for years to come.
