The Dallas Cowboys managed to stop the juggernaut Philadelphia Eagles with a win over the almost invincible team. And the margin could have been higher if wide receiver Michael Gallup could see the ball to catch it for a TD pass. But the Cowboys owner Jerry Jones does not blame the sun for the missed opportunity. And the Cowboys nation is not happy with his sun analogy.

The victory against the Eagles is the Cowboys’ 11th of the season. But that missed touchdown still hurts the fans.

The Cowboys nation calls out Jerry Jones 

Jerry Jones answered a question about the sun affecting the play at AT&T Stadium. Speaking on ‘105.3 The Fan’, Jones said everyone knows where the sun is, and it affects both the teams.

Jones’ refusal to acknowledge a design flaw in the Stadium did not go down well with the fans. Many blamed him for the lost touchdown opportunity. Others pinpointed Jones’ ego as the reason for his denial. A fan blames Jones’ ego for the fiasco.

The sun did come straight to the eyes, but it’s nothing that blinds cannot solve. Missed TD or not, the Cowboys still managed to one-up the rampant Eagles, who have barely put a foot down this season.

Dallas kept the Eagles in sight always and then pushed the throttle to win it in the fourth quarter. The defeat is just the Eagles’ second of the season. The only team to defeat them previously this season was the Washington Commanders.

The Cowboys QB Dak Prescott had a good game as he threw 347 passing yards in it. He threw three passing touchdowns against the Eagles. But the defense of Philadelphia did manage to intercept one of his 35 pass attempts.

The Cowboys have an 11-4 overall record and still have a very slim mathematical chance to win the division. Can Prescott lead them to glory this season? And the million-dollar question is, will Jerry Jones do something about the sun affecting play at the AT&T Stadium?
