The NFL fans noticed something interesting and eyebrow-raising in the Super Bowl LVII game. Kansas City and the Philadelphia Eagles went against each other on February 12. The outcome of the game was that the Chiefs defeated their rivals 38-35. It was the field goal that Harrison Butker made that helped the team to win the game. But some NFL fans noticed that there were uncanny similarities between Super Bowl 56 and 57 games.
What were the astounding similarities between the last two Super Bowl games?
What does one remember in a thrilling and big matchup like the Super Bowl? Yes, it’s the late penalty or the flagging that a player receives. During the game between Philly and K.C., there came a penalty because of James Bradberry when the game was at its peak. Many fans and players dreaded it because they may think that the Eagles would have won the game if it were not for the last-minute penalty.

Similarly, when the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals went against each other last year, they also got hit with a penalty. Therefore, seeing how similar the two games were, Dov Kleiman shared a video of the last defensive holding calls. Fans observed that in each of the last two Super Bowl games, Wilson from the Bengals and Bradberry from the Eagles got flagged. Consequently, their rival teams got a fresh set of downs. This changed the games entirely. Leading the Rams and the Chiefs to lift the Lombardi Trophy. Kleiman asked NFL fans which play they found worse. This led to many fans believing that the NFL is “rigged.”
This is how fans reacted to their supposed new realization
This fan thought that the Bengals’ loss was worse than the Eagles. They also wrote that the league might be fixed.
Bengals was even worse. Both bad calls but hit my bets 💰 bc the NFL is rigged

This is a hold. You can say it shouldn’t be called in that situation but by rule it is a hold. pic.twitter.com/F8X3swiqLg

the eagles call was way worse. juju wasn’t going to catch that ball regardless of the penalty called.
the bengals got the ball back with 1:25, after a call where the ball was aimed directly at kupp.

I would say bengals because in the same area of the field this happened and no call. Then the last play of the game Boyd was mugged… no call pic.twitter.com/H7R5MXd8ur

The NFL needs full-time refs. A ref shouldn’t be able to throw a judgement call flag with that much on the line, that late in the Super Bowl, and potentially change the trajectory of billion dollar franchises. There needs to be consistency

I'm an Eagles fan but I'm gonna say the Eagles only because it was 100% a catchable ball for Kupp and the hold prevented him from getting the separation needed. That wasn't the case for the Chiefs because the ball was way over thrown

It is not uncommon when unexpected penalties take place in such important games. Fans will never accept that their team lost the ultimate championship game to an interference penalty. But since the call was marginal and made at such a crucial point of the game, it managed to bruise the feelings of many Philly fans. And as for the K.C. fandom, they thought it was necessary to take action by the book.
