According to some eBay reports, the site witnessed a 198% increase in Tom Brady collectible sales. The figures include a 233% increase in rookie card sales and a 341% increase in his jersey sales.

The news and speculations around the retiring modern icon of American sports are garnering a Jordan-Last Dance type of attention. The numbers and prices for some of his memorabilia have hit record figures and are steadying on those numbers.

The date of 1st February in the year 2022 recorded the sale of one of his collectible cards for almost $2.3 Million. The item in question was an autographed 2000 Contenders Rookie Championship Ticket numbered out of 10.

It did receive an 8.5 grade and a perfect 10 signature rating from Beckett Grading Services. It also became the highest trading card sale in eBay’s history as a marketplace.

Many such NFL player Panini cards are some of the most sought-after treasures among fans. Brady’s 2000 Contenders Rookie Championship Ticket is the third-highest for sale for a collectible card. A 2017 Panini National Treasures Patrick Mahomes, 1-of-1 rookie card holds the record with a sale price of $4.3 million in July 2021. NFL fans are also entering the domain of opening, trading, and buying crates of such collectible card boxes.
