Offseasons are the time for some bombshell trades and free agency signings. Various NFL franchises lead from a shake-up to a significant overhaul. But things did not pan out for Foster Moreau, at least not the way he planned. The former Las Vegas Raiders TE recently made a crucial choice to step away from the game as he has to battle a rare form of cancer. After disclosing it to the public, he received responses from Leonard Fournette to several other people on social media.
The free agent TE was in New Orleans undergoing a physical with the Saints when the franchise’s medical staff broke the news to Foster Moreau. As per ESPN, Dr. John Amoss performed the diagnosis, which led to the 25-year-old making a huge decision.

The free agent TE took to Twitter to reveal the diagnosis by the New Orleans Saints medical team. Foster Moreau announced he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and would step away from the game. He shared his message in a three-part tweet and thanked everyone for their support and would seek their guidance in the future.

As the news erupted, free agent, RB Leonard Fournette came forward with a heartfelt response. He shared an Instagram chat screenshot of him and Moreau. Lenny tweeted, “One of the best guys I have met in my life, We are with you love you brother and if y’all didn’t know he is a Fournette.”

TE Moreau acknowledged he is fighting a new battle. The athlete intends to return more powerful than ever and would undoubtedly beat cancer. Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a rare disease that impacts the body’s defenses, specifically the lymphatic system. However, the illness is treatable, per NHS, which is a ray of hope.
Not just Leonard Fournette, but several personalities came forward for Foster Moreau.
