Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has donned multiple caps in his long career. He started off as a football player and won the National Championship in college, playing for the Miami Hurricane in 1991.

He registered for the 1995 NFL draft but went undrafted. It crushed his dream to play in the league. But as we all know, he did fairly well for himself.

Even so, he still thinks about his dream from yesteryear and has always been involved with the game. And being a part of Sunday’s Super Bowl LVI is a cherishable moment for the movie star.

The ex-WWE star acknowledged as much saying, “You guys know my NFL dream never came true, so is this is a full-circle moment on this field.

 

Dwayne Johnson’s connection to the game has been a special one. Even though he has not played a game in the league, he got involved with it in other manners. His show, ‘Ballers (2015-19) dealt with the intricate troubles that NFL players face throughout their careers.

And the ever-lasting impact their time in the league has on their lives. He plays an ex-NFL player who gets involved with financial management for sportspersons after facing money problems of his own.

Dwayne Johnson owns a ‘football’ league

Johnson is also a  co-owner of the league XFL, a concept that has been tried a couple of times in the past but never acclaimed mainstream success. It is yet to be seen if Mr. Johson can turn fate around for this competitive football league.

Even though he never made it to the NFL, he has a mean highlight on Youtube, which is not something generally associated with movie stars. His passion for the game led him to this moment. Generally, you will see The Rock helping somebody’s wish come true; this Super Bowl, his own wish comes true.

Since the Super Bowl is in LA this year, the already big game has gotten even bigger.

The Halftime Show is star-studded

The Super Bowl LVI is going to feature an unfathomable artists line-up. Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg,  Mary J Blige, and Kendrick Lamar are some of the names in the line-up. Dwayne Johnson will also be seen ‘cooking’ in LA.

The Cincinnati Bengals led by Joe Burrow take on the Los Angeles Rams with Matt Stafford at the helm. The fans are ready, the artists have lined up, and the teams are fired up.
