Indianapolis Colts‘ new quarterback, Gardner Minshew, has been making headlines for more than just his NFL prowess. Despite earning millions since entering the league in 2019, Minshew’s lifestyle choices remain surprisingly minimalist. The former Washington State star’s frugal habits have caught the attention of NFL fans. Unlike some high-earning athletes, you won’t catch Minshew splurging on expensive items or living a lavish lifestyle.

He still drives the 2011 Acura his parents gifted him for high school graduation, and apart from an occasional first-class plane ticket, he keeps a low profile financially. And like many, Pat McAfee, a former Colts punter and current sports analyst, is one of the many admirers of Minshew’s down-to-earth approach.
