Recently, the 2X SB MVP addressed the media post the Kansas win against the Jaguars. While answering some pressing questions, the QB was asked about his thick mate’s match evaluation. Though Mahomes seemed concerned, the player in question has quashed any such claims.
Travis Kelce denies any “scary” injury concerns

In what was a successful campaign for the side, Kelce, along with Mahomes was a nightmare for the opposition. This year, the tight end missed the season opener with a knee injury and returned with a TD against the Jaguars. Mahomes was noticeably concerned and deemed his injury as “scary”. The 8X Pro-Bowler downplayed any such major concerns. He looked resolute as he gave his two cents on his comeback. “There was no doubt in my mind It is what it is. I was out there flying around. I wish I would have helped my team out a little more than I did, but we came out of Jacksonville with a win.”

Kelce further stressed that his mobility was restricted after the injury. However, as he plays more games, his movement and reflexes will be back to their best. The tight end is a crucial member of the KC Chiefs squad. The 4X First-Team All-Pro winner covered nearly 1,340 yards and accounted for 12 touchdowns in 2022. Kelce who was rumored a linkup with Taylor Swift promised a good season. However, problems are plenty for the 2023 champions as the Week 2 games highlighted some glaring issues.

Chiefs started off the season as the favorite to win the title. However, their plans were derailed by an inspired Detroit side. Though the points showed a close game, the Chiefs had plenty of issues to address. Now, with a strong win against the Jaguars, the issues are far from over.
