Ex-Eagles mentor Doug Pederson is now officially the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars and has a new perspective for the squad line-up; strengthening the prospects and working alongside the newly elected coordinating staff towards the path of genuine progress.

The team will make some crucial adjustments ahead of the new season. The Jaguars displayed the weakest performance in the preceding two years. This incorporates some fresh additions to the workforce, and some veterans will be retained in the roster.

Developing the Best Offense

The Head Coach recently had an interaction with the press at the TIAA Bank Field, in which he introduced the members of the staff who are heading to Jacksonville. The recent representatives include offensive coordinator Press Taylor, defensive coordinator Mike Caldwell, and special teams coordinator Heath Farwell.

Speaking to the media, Coach Doug Pederson explained the team has talent; however, it is not perfect. They see flashes. Both offensive and defensive sides are taking long strides and currently, they require having some consistency every week. There has to be some ownership.

The Head Coach also said that he was building up the roster by interviewing some talent alongside the coordinators; but he is taking his time to select representatives and bring some value to the franchise.

Meanwhile, offensive coordinator Press Taylor spoke to the press regarding the offensive line-up. as he spoke to them, he looks determined to combine everyone to build the best offensive side, but this can only happen if they put their ego aside and work for what’s best for the franchise, and find people whose goal is to do what’s best for the Jaguars.

Will Doug Pederson be able to do the fix?

The current Jaguars staff focuses on having former NFL athletes who can help to bring light to their experience; providing it to the athletes for the development of the Jacksonville club. 2021 was a disastrous season for the squad, even after having a stable roster of young expertise and veterans in the mix. The team recorded a 3-14, standing the lowest in the AFC South division.

Now that Jaguars owner Shad Khan sacked Coach Urban Meyer and Darrell Bevell after the 2021 season. Head Coach Doug Pederson has sharpened his focus on converting this franchise into a winning one, and there are a lot of things to change.

They are learning and studying from their past, having a forward-thinking approach in each of the processes they undergo. He also stated that the team is not an overnight fix, and they will go one layer and one coach at a time, turning the face of this organization.
