The Dallas Cowboys are moving forward, with Dak Prescott holding the offensive fortress. He begins his seventh year in the league, having critical responsibilities to address. While Jerry Jones likes to make some gambles, the QB is one of those who have paid off well. But Prescott, 29, aims to last for a decade in the NFL — Probably as a Cowboy.

During Peter King’s training camp tour, he sat down with Dak Prescott for a chat, where they touched upon various topics. When King asked the QB about his playing longevity, he gave an optimistic answer. Any team would prefer to hear it from their star quarterback. Prescott also adds that he embraces this year’s campaign with a focused aim and monocular vision.

The Cowboys QB1 mentions, “As much as I’d love to play 10 years, I don’t want to get ahead of myself. What’s important is right now, me and this training camp, this season. I just want to focus on that and make sure all my energy is there. We can talk about next year or next year comes and so forth on.”

Prescott adds he stands very optimistic regarding the 2022 season and calls themselves to be in a better place than last year. Moreover, apart from CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys’ receiving group lacks experience. But he sees this as an opportunity for others to step up.

Dak is into his seventh season with the Cowboys and has established his durability. A dislocated ankle cut his 2020 season short. But his performance in the Dallas offense also shows a talent who might be around for the long run.

As the Dallas Cowboys deck up for the year 2022, Dak Prescott is going all-in to make the franchise Super Bowl worthy. Stephen Jones, the executive vice president of the Cowboys, spoke highly of the QB after monitoring him. He asserts that at the training camps; the quarterback seems to be at his best.

EVP Jones mentioned he improved in velocity, accuracy, and every other sector. QBs improve with age, and they improve every year. Stephen does not doubt that this year was the best training camp of all time for Dak. 2020 was a setback for Prescott, and 2021 was all about therapy and rejuvenation. He has returned with just one goal in mind: to lead the team through the playoffs.
