The NFL officiating has come under the radar, and that does not seem to leave soon. The fans are blasting the officials for their poor calls, which adversely affected a lot of the teams. The Chiefs-Jaguars game saw JuJu Smith-Schuster sustaining a hit that took him off the game. It led to Brittany Mahomes calling out the referees. But the NFL Universe took a field trip over the QB1’s wife.

JuJu Smith-Schuster took a virulent knock to the head during the Chiefs-Jaguars game. Patrick Mahomes connected with the WR with a pass in the middle of the field. As he ran forward, Jaguars’ Andre Cisco hit Smith-Schuster in the head. Following the incident, trainers had to remove the Chiefs WR from the game, and he did not come back.

Brittany Mahomes took to Twitter, where she blasted the referees. She tweeted, “At some point, refs need to be held accountable. THATS A MF FLAG.”

Mrs. Mahomes’ position on this issue segmented the NFL fan realm.

Andre Cisco’s hit to JuJu Smith-Schuster landed the WR in the concussion protocol. It led to an uproar in the Chiefs Kingdom. After the game, the Kansas City Chiefs members showcased their upset over the situation. HC Andy Reid was also upset and felt the officials should penalize the Jaguars over the actions.

Andy Reid mentioned via ESPN, “As long as there’s contact to the head, it doesn’t need to be in the game. So it looked like there was contact to the head from where I was standing, but I’m not the one making that call.”
