In 2023, after playing for 23 seasons, GOAT Tom Brady decided to bid adieu to the NFL once and for all. He had actually retired once before in 2022 but surprised everyone with a comeback for another season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Throughout his illustrious career, Brady achieved remarkable success by winning a total of seven Super Bowls and setting numerous passing records. As he bid farewell to the sport, he expressed his gratitude to his family, friends, teammates, and even his competitors for their unwavering support. But even now, speculations about his second un-retirement abound.

Well, Brady has been on an interview streak, putting to rest any doubts about him returning. TB-12 gave his clearest answer yet since he retired for the second time. But this stream of interviews seemed to have stepped on the foot of a sports commentator for some reason.

Mike Florio misunderstands TB-12’s interview appearances

Mike Florio, of the PPT Live on Peacock seemed to think all those interviews were a bid at self-promotion. Tom Brady for some reason yesterday and I still don’t know what he was selling,” per Florio. The analyst shared a video where Brady spoke during an interview with a sports magazine SI. In that interview, Brady confidently stated that he wont be returning to football.

“Yesterday Tom Brady was selling something. He did multiple interviews yesterday the first one that landed on our radar screen was with SI now and Tom Brady was asked a question the inevitable question as to whether he’s going to play again. And he [Brady] gave us the most unequivocal answer he has supplied since he actually retired for the second time.”

According to Brady’s answer to SI, he won’t be playing football anymore. Instead, he expressed his excitement about joining Fox (a TV network) as a broadcaster. Brady mentioned that he has various commitments in both his professional and personal life, including dedicating time to his children.

Brady’s connections to the Dolphins fuel retirement comeback rumors.

Previously, according to Ex- QB and Patriots broadcaster, Scott Zolak indicated that Brady might come out of retirement and join the Dolphins in 2023. Zolak supports this idea by mentioning that Brady has friends on the Dolphins team, his representatives have relocated to Miami, and he is looking into private schools for his children there. Zolak even refers to other sources like Rich Eisen and Colin Cowherd who have also hinted at Brady’s potential return.

Where, Brady firmly denied rumors of returning or joining other teams, including the Dolphins or the 49ers. He expressed his desire to focus on his family, health, and other projects. In a recent interview with SI, Brady confidently stated that he was certain he would not be playing again, providing a sense of relief and putting an end to speculations about his comeback to the field.
