Matt LaFleur opens up about Aaron Rodgers’ apology

During the press conference, speaking about Rodgers, LaFleur said,This is one of the toughest dudes I’ve ever been around. I don’t ever for one second, question his toughness, his desire to be out there, his desire to compete. Matter of fact, he apologizes to me and I’m like ‘don’t ever apologize to me’“.

Later, the Packers HC revealed that Rodgers has been dealing with injuries for a long time. I’ll never question that, this guy is the ultimate competitor. He has been battling through a lot of stuff all year long and it hasn’t been just this year. It’s been the last, I would say the last few years that we have been together. He doesn’t say anything about it and he just keeps competing and doing the best he can,” LaFleur further said.

Although Jordan Love showed good signs when he came on in place of Rodgers in the third quarter, he’s really young and kind of unproven in the NFL. In that game, he threw 113 yards for 1 touchdown and had a great fourth quarter.

On Monday, the Packers HC revealed that Rodgers felt a little better after suffering the injury. However, it is still uncertain whether he will start in the Week 13 game against the Bears on Sunday. If he becomes healthy enough, he will most likely play.
