But Jamin Davis grabbed the TE’s facemask before John Ridgeway emerged and got the ball off his hands. Ultimately, the Commanders scored a field goal, bearing the Eagles their campaign’s first setback.

As per Tom Pelissero, The NFL fined [Commanders] LB Jamin Davis $10,609 for unnecessary roughness — grabbing the facemask of [Eagles] TE Dallas Goedert, who fumbled and suffered a shoulder injury that landed him on injured reserve. No flag was thrown.

It led to the Washington, and Philadelphia fans standing up for their teams.
