The play cost the Eagles, which sent one of their athletes into IR. The NFL fined LB Jamin Davis for roughness over a Philly athlete. Both the franchise’s fans are piling up on Twitter after the news.

The moment arose when Jalen Hurts completed a pass to Dallas Goedert on a 1st-and-10 with 9:14 left in the fourth quarter. But Jamin Davis grabbed the TE’s facemask before John Ridgeway emerged and got the ball off his hands. Ultimately, the Commanders scored a field goal, bearing the Eagles their campaign’s first setback.

As per Tom Pelissero, “The NFL fined [Commanders] LB Jamin Davis $10,609 for unnecessary roughness — grabbing the facemask of [Eagles] TE Dallas Goedert, who fumbled and suffered a shoulder injury that landed him on injured reserve. No flag was thrown.”

It led to the Washington, and Philadelphia fans standing up for their teams.
