One of the latest episodes of the New Heights podcast was a live component that included people like Roger Goodell and Mahomes making appearances on it. The whole episode revolved around featuring the answers of the guests to a live audience. And one of these guests was Mahomes. While speaking on the podcast, Jason Kelce asked the QB about his ankle.
However, the QB was awfully sly with his answer and flipped the way he was speaking to his Super Bowl rival. He mentioned how he’s been having a good summer and spoke about the latest addition to his family. He also said“I got a uh the off-season has been different as you know uh have the baby boy. congrats to you as well.”
The QB seemingly flipped the tables on his interviewee by congratulating Jason for his newborn as well. It seems like Mahomes was doing all he could to avoid talking about his injury.
