DK Metcalf rows the suspicions

DK Metcalf batted down the possibility of playing for the Chiefs with a scathing opinion after a user said, “the door is open in [Kansas City]!” He mentioned over the quoted tweet, “Better close it, heard it get cold at night.”

Furthermore, the name of Tyler Lockett is also in the trade speculations this summer. As the Seahawks’ combo laughs off the trade talk, he reacts to Metcalf’s amusing post.

Metcalf’s remark must also assuage Seahawks supporters’ doubts, as he appears committed to remaining in Seattle. Although the Dolphins franchise is amidst a turnaround, the front staff would be wise to construct the offense around the athlete.

Will the Lockett-Metcalf dealing transpire?

The self-proclaimed ‘Fastest Man in NFL,’ who made headlines with his exemplary work at the 2019 NFL Combine, is about to complete the final year of his current contract. It’s unclear if the Chiefs are seriously considering securing Lockett or Metcalf’s capabilities. The chemistry isn’t ideal, and Metcalf’s impending increase would be a step back given Kansas City’s big trade of Tyreek Hill. Both players would be significant contributors to the Chiefs’ elevated offense.
