The wide receiver of the Seattle Seahawks cannot save himself from repeatedly getting fined by the NFL officials. When DK Metcalf and his team went against the San Francisco 49ers, he engaged in a verbal brawl. This is not the first time that the 25-year-old has gotten into trouble because of his smart mouth. And it looks like Metcalf has no interest in slowing down.

The WR received a penalty in the second quarter of the Thursday Night Football game. The Seahawks threw to Homer for four yards on a third-and-five play from their own 30, narrowly missing a first down. However, because Metcalf had been accused of taunting, it didn’t matter.

Officials flagged Metcalf for 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct and for taunting Dre Greenlaw. This took the team down to a 4th-and-16. It was the sixth time that the Pro Bowler faced a penalty. One would think he would stop after three, but no, the Second-Team All-Pro will not change the way he plays.

“When I’m beating someone’s a*s like I do when I’m blocking, sometimes the officials don’t like that,” Metcalf said. “I’m just going to continue to play football how I know how to play it, and that’s in between the whistle. You can’t stop that.”

In his defense, he got no explanation why the official flagged him. Also, he revealed the league did not notify him that he will be fined. Even though he got a penalty, he did not change the way he played in the game. “No, because I’m not going to stop blocking or playing aggressive, because that’s a part of who I am.” In his opinion, the team drafted him because he is a strong competitor and he should flaunt that aspect of his personality while playing games.
