Under the tutelage of Pete Carroll, the Seahawks have established themselves as a force to reckon with in the NFL. They’ve made some smart roster moves in the offseason, including the acquisition of in-demand safety Jamal Adams from the New York Jets. They remain unbeaten after four games with a perfect record courtesy of some fine individual displays from quarterback, Russell Wilson.

Wilson has thrown for more than 1,200+ yards with a league-high 16 passing TDs to his name against just two interceptions. But apart from him, there is another Seattle Seahawks player who has caught the attention of critics.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson singles out DK Metcalf for special recognition

Russell Wilson is having a terrific season with the Seahawks as we approach the half-way stage of the season. The seasoned NFL quarterback is not one to hog the limelight. In a recent interview, Wilson singled out teammate and promising wide receiver, DK Metcalf, for special praise after his impressive displays in the league thus far.

“He’s the best in the world at what he does. He’s continued to evolve into one of the best receivers in the game. Not to be shy about it, I think he is one of the top receivers in the game. He can do it all — he can run by you, he can jump over you, he can get physical with you. … He just approaches the game the right way,” Wilson said on a Zoom call via Seattle Times.
