DK Metcalf recognizes Deebo’s abilities
The Niners use Deebo Samuel in a wide receiver and a running back hybrid role. As a result, Samuel has labeled himself a “wide back.” This is not a role that DK would prefer. Therefore, DK acknowledged that it is something that he cannot do and where Samuel is better than him.
In the same interview, he added, “Deebo is a very versatile player.” Additionally, DK stated that Deebo can line up in the backfield, play wideout, go in the slot, and return punts and kicks.
