NFL greats Tom Brady and Peyton Manning might be the coolest QBs for the outside world, but on the field, they are real Gangsters. Their accolades or fame don’t say it. But all the players who played them know very well how dangerous it becomes to poke them. One such incident was shared by the former linebacker DJ Williams, who revealed an insane rule they created for the rookies.

It’s an art to get into one’s head, and Tom Brady is the Picasso of it. Despite being in a serious situation, facing the heat of the moment, and screwed up, the quarterback gets down to his rookie counterparts in the opposition and appreciates them between the game.
Well, it doesn’t have anything to do with gloating, but an intention to encourage them to take one step back. Earning Brady’s respect, that too, in the rookie season might be a great thing for a first-year athlete. But in reality, he never means that. One feels overwhelmed with emotions, and at that point, Brady takes advantage of those vulnerabilities to turn the game in his favor.
Former linebacker DJ Williams had experienced a similar situation during his early years. He had asked every rookie joining the squad to never involve in a chat with Tom Brady.
While speaking on the ‘I am Athlete’ podcast, along with other panelists from the NFL world, Williams shared crazy Tom Brady stories, including the one advice he always gave to the rookies.“Rookies, we would have to tell them don’t talk to Tom,” Williams said. “He did it to me. ‘Hey DJ man, listen, having an amazing season. You know you are tackling, and you get up and see he knows your name and starts talking to you. You are like damn, Tom is a cool a** dude, you take a little bit off the pedal,” the linebacker explained TB12’s tactical approach to get into one’s head.

Similarly, he compared Manning’s attitude in such situations and said he was no better than Brady. “They appreciate you, ‘oh man, good job. Blah blah blah, this and that,'” Manning says, but at the end, Brady’s like, ”I got another one, baby.”.
When Von Miller learned the hard way with Tom Brady
The two-time Super Bowl Champion is a victim of Brady’s vengeance. Although the Buccaneers had to taste defeat in the NFC division playoff last season, Miller explained that Brady was so close to the win despite trailing 27-3 on the board. And he held himself responsible for the quarterback’s aggression.
