Over these past few days, the Super Bowl LVI champions have had an extraordinary time. Finally, the Los Angeles Rams have lifted the Lombardi Trophy and are heading into the offseason. Another aspect of the offseason is that many players may decide to retire or get traded to another team. However, Aaron Donald had made it clear that he might return to the Rams if his demand is met.

Speculation swirled prior to the Super Bowl game kickoff that one of the Rams key players may call it a career after the victory. TMZ halted Donald on the road and asked him a question every Rams fan wants to be answered. TMZ asked, “Are you really coming back?

Donald answered, “I’m gonna enjoy the moment. If we bring everybody back, I’m back. Odell Beckham, Von Miller – we bring them guys back, let’s make it happen.” Although Donald did not confirm his return, there is a strong possibility that we may see him play in the Rams blue-yellow uniform for at least one more season.

Aaron Donald is brushing off his retirement rumors

Donald‘s retirement rumors started circulating before the Super Bowl game on Sunday. After he finally won a ring, he was rumored to walk away from the league in the offseason. Additionally, Rodney Harrison said that Donald told him that if he won the Super Bowl title he would retire.

Nevertheless, all these rumors have been put to rest. Though Donald did not commit to returning to the field, he did agree with Sean McVay’s “RUN IT BACK” during the Rams victory parade. Moreover, after Donald’s comments to TMZ, the possibility of him returning to the Rams for Super Bowl LVII is less doubtful.

Meanwhile, Odell Beckham Jr and Von Miller are set to enter the offseason as free agents. Additionally, due to limited cap space and the expiration of various free-agent contracts, it will be difficult for the Rams to re-sign their two key players. In any event, we can expect the Rams to make a wise decision and assemble a team that can repeat their championship run.
