The performance of Shakira and Jennifer Lopez during the Super Bowl 2020 was iconic. Both of them put on a great show for the fans worldwide. Super Bowl is one of the best sports events of the year, and the duo certainly made it better with their performance.

However, some people believe that Shakira did not sing the entire time during her performance. They believed that she was lip-syncing, which is why some people weren’t happy about it.

According to LA Times, Shakira appeared to lip-sync for the majority of her set. However, when she dove into the fans and sang her famous song ‘Hips don’t lie,’ she appeared to exhort those holding her aloft. Nevertheless, it was a great spectacle by two great female singers of this generation.

Jennifer Lopez claimed it to be “the worst idea in the world.” She said, “We have six fu***ng minutes, We have to have our singing moments. t’s not going to be a dance fu***ng revue. We have to sing our message.”

JLo added, “This is the worst idea in the world to have two people do the Super Bowl. It was the worst idea in the world.” It is clearly visible from these statements that Lopez would have preferred to get more time for her performance which got distributed among the artists.

Both Shakira and Jennifer Lopez are icons of the music industry. Even though Jennifer Lopez didn’t like the idea of both of them performing together, the fans certainly cherished their performance. It is etched into history books as one of the best performances during the half-time show at the Super Bowls.
