As the NFL season kicked off, former outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware surprised everyone with a special performance. He started his Hall of Fame weekend by singing the National Anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner.” A truly heartwarming moment for the community, as fans and athletes alike came together showering love on the future HoFamer.

The NFL’s official page shared a 2-and-a-half-minute video of DeMarcus singing in front of arena-filled audiences. Whether they were spectators or athletes, everyone stood in harmony while DeMarcus sang his heart out. It was truly surprising to most, as Pat McAfee himself took to Twitter to post a picture of the NFL legend singing and wrote, “Demarcus Ware singing the National anthem to start his own Hall Of Fame weekend… DID NOT SEE THAT COMIN”
McAfee wasn’t the only person mesmerized by DeMarcus’s sweet voice, as the NFL community showered praise and love all around social media.

Not only did he deliver a stellar performance, but he also secured his place as a Hall of Famer, etching his name in history. Emmanuel Acho, a former NFL LB turned analyst, praised the performance on Twitter, saying, “FOOTBALL IS BACK!!! And Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware singing the national anthem!! Let’s goooo,” with several fire emojis to intensify the hype.

Esteemed Sports columnist, Skip Bayless, showed his genuine appreciation, acknowledging, “WAY TO GO, DEMARCUS WARE. BEAUTIFUL JOB WITH THE NATIONAL ANTHEM. THAT TOOK GUTS.”
