Did the New Orleans Saints and the Miami Dolphins fans ‘Get Lucky’ Monday night after they saw the French music duo Daft Punk in the Mercedes Benz Superdome? It seemed as if they did, but not exactly. During the Week 16 matchup between the Saints and the Dolphins, two gentlemen were seen sporting futuristic helmets over black suits and gold ties.

People on social media speculated that they were the real French musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, popularly known by the name Daft Punk. But later, they turned out to be Saints fans who just came out to be too creative that night.

The Saints did not seem very “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” when going up against the in-form Dolphins since the home squad was depleted with several players listed on the COVID reserve. But the presence of such creative fans did provide the viewers with a little bit of ‘Digital Love’ from New Orleans.

The Punk impersonators were so stylish that many had mistaken them for the real legendary house group. Unfortunately, it was not much of a creative night for the Saints as they were not ‘Doin’ It Right’ the way they did against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the week before.

Although the home fans wanted to shut out their opponents ‘One More Time,’ that did not seem to happen. Instead, the Saints came very much close to a shutout loss as the game ended with a 3-20 score in the favor of the Miami Dolphins.

Although, it was a special night for the Dolphins as they created an astonishing piece of history. The Dolphins had improved their winning streak to seven games, making them the first team in NFL history to have a seven-game winning and losing streak in the same season.

They were certainly the ‘Superheroes’ of the league as the Dolphins still have a chance to make the playoffs, while they were only 1-7 mid-season. It was certainly a ‘Revolution 909’ for them. Although it would have been much more amusing to see the real duo on the stands, that idea seems to be far-fetched.
