Tom Brady is an exceptional athlete and also a brilliant father to his three children. After losing to the Kansas City Chiefs, the leading Tampa Bay quarterback talked about the game on his weekly podcast. There, he spoke about how watching his oldest son play football makes him happy.

John Edward, the eldest son of Brady whom he co-parents with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, is his shining star. The 15-year-old plays high school football. And it is probably the best sight for his seven-time Super Bowl-winning father to see.

On the Let’s Go! podcast, the host asked Tom Brady about his son’s interest in sports and how it makes him feel. “ I think one of the great highlights in my life is watching him play and him grow and develop and my kids, too. So I love watching him kind of dig deep and especially team sports. I love team sports because it forces you to get along with other people. It forces you to take responsibility and accountability for your actions. It teaches you discipline, it teaches you respect,” said the proud father.

John plays college football. Tampa Tom never imagined his son to follow in his footsteps, even though he does not “give a s*it how well” his son plays. It is the camaraderie and team efforts of the sport that are so commendable.

Little John is a “grinder and a very good athlete.” Also, Brady thinks his son moves better than he did when he was his age. “He’s a free safety, and he also plays quarterback.” This experience is a must for the head QB because of what else is transpiring in his life.
