According to a recent Instagram post by college football analyst Adam Breneman, Arch Manning won’t be earning money from NIL deals until he becomes a starter in Texas. Currently, Quinn Ewers is the favorite to start, and the 18-year-old Manning has to prove himself to earn the QB1 position on the team. So why can’t Arch Manning earn through NIL deals until he becomes a starting QB? The reason behind this is his grandfather Archie Manning, who also spent 13 seasons as a QB in the NFL. He said that unless the 18-year-old proves himself worthy to be a college starter, the NIL deals will have to wait before he can earn from them.
While the 18-year-old has to wait on NIL deals, his valuation led to a lot of frenzy among fans back in March.

The only person ahead of him is Bronny James, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, who sits at the top with a worth of $7.5 million. This led to a lot of fans calling out nepotism to be a factor in their high NIL values.
