7-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has mostly stayed away from politics throughout his career. However, his name is on the news before Election Day in the USA. According to reports, he has a history of friendship with the current Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Notably, Brady showed his support for the First Lady of Florida, Casey DeSantis, in one of the campaigns for the students. Since then, Brady and the DeSantis family became really good friends, as per reports.

Last year, First Lady Casey DeSantis posted a video on her official Instagram account, where she revealed that Brady was supporting her campaign. In that video, Brady could be seen sharing his insights and support for that great cause.

In the caption, she wrote, “Tom Brady Backing First Lady DeSantis’ Resiliency Initiative for Students… So proud to have support from @tombrady for our new resiliency initiative. We all face challenges in life. With resiliency and hope you can persevere through anything. But don’t just take it from me, take it from one of the NFL’s Greatest of All Time.”

Meanwhile, the gubernatorial candidate for Wisconsin, Tim Michels, recently confirmed the friendship between Brady and Ron DeSantis. Earlier in September this year, both Michels and DeSantis were at Lambeau Field to watch Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. According to Michels, the Florida Governor was texting Tom Brady trying to learn how to pronounce ‘Lambeau’.

This proves further their friendship, as Brady and DeSantis have been texting each other. However, Brady did not publically endorse DeSantis or the other candidate, Charlie Crist, before Election Day. Notably, Brady made an appearance in the White House after winning the Super Bowl in the 2020-2021 season. President of the USA, Joe Biden, invited the whole Bucs team, and they shared some lovely moments together.

The Bucs had a tough start in the 2022-23 season

Speaking of the Bucs, they had a terrible season so far. After losing in the divisional round against the Rams last year, the Bucs are on the verge of missing the playoffs this season. However, they got their revenge against the Rams this Sunday, as they beat them in the last seconds to reach the top spot in the NFC South division.

Moreover, Brady showed his clutch genes to pull the Bucs out of the mud. However, the Bucs still have a losing record in this division with 4 wins and 5 losses. If they qualify for the playoffs, it will be nothing sort of a miracle for the team and Brady.
