Aaron Rodgers has left the Green Bay Packers, but his legacy might hurt the franchise now. The Packers have chosen Jordan Love as the successor of the QB who held the fort for 18 years in Wisconsin. Rodgers is off to the East Coast now for a new adventure with the New York Jets. He will try to revive the legacy of the team that hasn’t seen a playoff game since the 2010 season.

He will shoulder a lot of pressure with his new franchise but according to an ex-quarterback, the real pressure will be on LaFleur and the Packers. The former New York Jets QB believes that the Packers and head coach Matt LaFleur took their veteran QB for granted. According to him, that happens a lot when teams rely on one QB for a very long time, even if they have won back-to-back MVPs. And he had a warning for the Green and Gold franchise about the upcoming season.

Ryan Fitzpatrick thinks that the Packers might struggle without Aaron Rodgers on the team. According to the former QB, there is a bit of intrigue with the QB switch at Lambeau Field. But that could quickly fade away very quickly if they got off to a bad start.

“We’re going to see what kind of coach he is, you know, because there’s no more Aaron Rodgers. And I think you rely so much on your veteran quarterbacks you take it for granted sometimes. So, for Aaron Rodgers to hold that place together for as long as he did, there is Intrigue. but as they, let’s say that they get off to a bad start and start losing games that intrigue is going to wane,” Fitzpatrick said on ESPN.

So according to the former Jet, teams sometimes take veteran QBs for granted as they rely on them so much. That is what might have prompted the four-time NFL MVP to exit Green Bay. Every eye will be on the Packers and their head coach as they navigate the time after Rodgers. Will Jordan Love be able to fill his predecessor’s shoes? On the other hand, even the new Jets QB has some pressure of great expectations.
