One of the most interesting sagas of this off-season has been the case of Green Bay Packers legend Aaron Rodgers. A few weeks back, A-Rod had shared his intentions of moving ahead with the New York Jets from Green Bay. And ever since, the NFL world has been waiting while holding their breaths to see the trade pull through. But there has been a standoff in negotiations between the Jets and the Packers in terms of the trade being finalized. The Packers have moved on from A-Rod with Jordan Love as their QB1 for the 2023 season. So, the Jets’ dream for Rodgers is something that might come to fruition in the coming days ahead. And, an NFL Insider thinks that A-Rod will face a lot of competition in his division.
But even if Rodgers joins his former teammate Allen Lazard at the Jets, it won’t be a simple time for Rodgers in the AFC division, as two $230 million QBs are standing in his journey with the Jets.

According to NFL Insider Mike Florio for the NFL on NBC show, Rodgers has been playing at a conference where there is not a lot of competition. But the AFC division is now turning into one competitive division with how the trade window has been going. Florio feels that the level of competition for Aaron Rodgers will be up a notch to the one he is used to playing in.
He says, “And then you go to the AFC where it’s murderer’s row. In your own division, you got the deal with the Bills. You got deal with the Dolphins. And the Patriots are still the Patriots if they may be down but they are still the Patriots. Oh and you got the Bengals. Oh and you got the Chiefs. And you got the Browns and Deshaun Watson, who could be a lot better. Oh and Sean Payton and Russell Wilson. My God.”

The AFC division stronghold
With how things have been moving in the trade period, the AFC division is turning into a stronghold of talents in the NFL. We already have $230 million Deshaun Watson showing his worth. While the Broncos will be waiting for their star $250 million signing Russell Wilson to show his potential after a dismal 2022 debut, the other teams are also gearing up to give a worthy contention for the playoffs.
You even have Super Bowl LVII winners, the Kansas City Chiefs, in the mix. Apart from this, the Miami Dolphins are also building on their offensive gameplay with the singing of Jalen Ramsey to the roster.
