While Brissett may have handled the position of starting quarterback decently, his efforts might not have translated completely toward the team’s success. While there might have been acceptable stats for the QB2, the Browns as a team have not blown anyone’s mind.
The team currently sits at the second-last position on the AFC North table. They have won 4 games and lost 7, out of which 4 were away losses. Brissett has not been doing much better either.
From an individual standpoint, Brissett has done a decent job trying to keep the team afloat. He has played 11 games this season. Throughout the season, he has thrown 12 touchdowns with a whopping 6 interceptions. With the way the team has been playing, Watson coming back might be welcomed. However, it remains to be seen what impact the controversial quarterback will have on the team.
