According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Watson was reportedly considering a move to either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Minnesota Vikings. Fowler reported, “The Texans quarterback, who spent the 2021 season on the team’s active roster but did not play, has begun evaluating potential fits for his services in 2022, with the Buccaneers and Vikings among teams on his radar.

In response to the rumors that have been circulating the past week, Watson’s agent appeared for a brief talk with Anderson. It was reported that Watson is eyeing a comeback in the league with other teams on his radar.

Watson’s agent spoke with NFL insider, Josina Anderson on Thursday afternoon. The agent confirmed that there is “no truth” to reports about Watson moving to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings, or any other team.

He added that he has not had any discussions with the quarterback or the teams about a potential destination. Furthermore, the agent stated that their goal was to clear Watson’s name at the moment.

It’s a tough slog for Deshaun Watson

Houston Texans quarterback, Deshaun Watson, who is set to become a free agent this offseason, is now embroiled in trouble. As a result, Watson did not play in NFL 2021 season. In 2021, Watson did request a trade from the Texans but was turned down. However, at this point, the Texans would not mind letting him go after his return following a lot of controversies.
