Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts seems to be trying every trick in his arsenal to recruit Tennessee Titans wide receiver, A.J. Brown. Both Brown and Hurts have had a special bond since their high school years and were seen training together recently. Hurts’ recent social media activity has thrown a spanner into the Titans’ plans to tie down their talented wideout to a long contract.

In his official Instagram account’s story, Brown put a photo of his session with the Eagles QB. While Hurts was in town attending a celebratory function, it seems he might try to pursue Brown to bring him to Philadelphia.
The Titans wideout has been disgruntled, in recent weeks, as he looks for his next big contract.

Brown will have plenty of takers among the league’s big hitters as he enters the final year of his rookie contract. The second-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft is currently scheduled to make $3.986 million this season with the Titans. He has shown his quality since entering the league and will be a great pickup for any contender in 2022.
Are the Philadelphia Eagles looking to sign A.J. Brown?
While the possibility of trading Brown has been ruled out by the Titans, the idea is not unrealistic. Brown continues to sit out of voluntary workouts with hopes of getting a concrete contract offer. He did get out of the blocks with the Titans quite quickly in his rookie season, setting high expectations.

During the 2019 season, Brown was putting up impressive numbers with 52 catches for 1,051 receiving yards and 8 TDs. In 2020, he showed his growth as he recorded 70 catches for 1,075 receiving yards and 11 TDs.
He was taking a back seat last season following the Titans acquiring Julio Jones as he only made 13 appearances.
While a trade to the Eagles is unlikely, the dream will be on for their fans. It will be a scary thought for the Titans fans before the upcoming season. The 2022 NFL offseason has seen WRs get their lucrative contract extensions and Brown will be looking for the same.
