Russell Wilson is already absorbing the Denver vibe. The Broncos recently held their first offseason training camp and the NFL’s favorite QB was seen throwing dimes across the gridiron. It looked as if he was looking forward to this day, even during his post-training press conference, the veteran was all energetic and hyped up to train with his new teammates.

Wilson donned his Broncos suit for the first time as he threw the football and it looked as if they were meant to be. Though away from his usual stage of stardom, Seattle, Wilson was clearly excited to explore the football horizons of Denver and build relationships with his new teammates.
Russell Wilson first met Peyton Manning in the Denver Broncos locker room
During the press conference, the 33-year-old recalled the time when he first visited the Broncos locker room 11 years ago. “I remember way back in the day I actually arrived here, I don’t know 11 years ago,” Wilson said.
“And Peyton Manning was in the locker room and he was going through his notebook. And I got to talk to him for a little bit he said, ‘Don’t I remember you from somewhere?'”
“I just remember that was one of his first days here,” he added. “And so it kind of takes me back to those moments takes me back from NC State to Wisconsin a little bit going driving somewhere new. And I think that anytime you leave a place but also you also arrive at a new place, you always want to make it better.”

Wilson to meet the Seattle Seahawks in the 2022 season
The former Seahawks superstar is certainly missing his time in Seattle with coach Pete Carroll, however, he is equally thrilled to be with the Broncos in the most competitive division in NFL. He mentioned how much he believes that his experience would only make the squad better.
As Wilson stares at a season filled with exciting fixtures, he will also get a chance to face the Seahawks in the Lumen Field. It is going to be a trip to nostalgia for Wilson.
