The Broncos are off to another rocky start under QB Russell Wilson and new head coach Sean Payton. Losing matches by a narrow margin, they are up against a powerful Miami Dolphins who will leave no stone unturned in maintaining their winning streak. But in another jolt to Broncs fans, key players have been listed in the latest injury report.

Are the Broncos heading for yet another devastating defeat? The Miami Dolphins are battling with injuries themselves for the scales to be tipped too highly in their favor.

According to the injury report by the Broncos, three players DNP in the practice ahead of the Week 3 game in Miami. OLB Frank Clark, who sat out the game against the Washington Commanders, seems not to have recovered from his hip injury and is likely to miss the Sunday game.

Safety Justin Simmons had watched from the sidelines for most of the preseason because of a groin injury. Again, during the match against the Commanders, he took a hit to his hip in the first half. DT Mike Purcell skipped practice as well due to an ankle injury. Tackle Garett Bolles, big-time supporter of QB Russell Wilson, was a limited participant with an ankle injury.

The upcoming match on Sunday will be a game of firsts. It is the Dolphins’ first home game and the Broncos’ first away game. Will the Miami Dolphins manage to add to their incredible winning streak of 2-0 or will the Broncos manage to clinch a difficult victory?

A buoyant Dolphins will walk into Hard Rock Stadium with momentum on their side. The Broncos have not won either of their two opening games. However, the silver lining for the Broncos is Miami’s long injury report. 

Key players such as RB Salvon Ahmed and WR Jaylen Waddle DNP in the practice due to groin injuries and a concussion, respectively. CB Xavien Howard, who was on the injury report last week with a thumb issue, also didn’t practice. But the reason listed on this injury report was “Rest”, and not injury-related. It was an up-and-down week for Miami fans as their WR Tyreek Hill made a surprise appearance on the list with an ankle injury. However, he participated fully the very next day.

The Miami Dolphins offense is led by a high-powered combo of TuaTagovailoa and Tyreek Hill. While the Broncos have a struggling offense led by QB Russell Wilson, who still has to deliver a performance worth his $245 million price tag.
