Deion Sanders has been in the prime time of the news sections these past couple of weeks. His highly criticized move from HBCU Jackson State University to the Colorado Buffaloes drew considerable traction from both sides of the argument. However, it seems like Christmas Deion wants to leave the negative talk behind as he delivers a loving holiday message.
After joining in 2020, Coach Prime brought the JSU Tigers their long-lost glory with back-to-back South West Atlantic Conference championships. And Deion Sanders is keeping the positive energies running for the holiday season. Deion posted a heartwarming tweet telling his fans the importance of giving during Christmas.

“You received & bought gifts, which made u feel better? Paul said it’s more Blessed to give than to receive. Let’s give without looking for reciprocation because it’s the right thing to do & not the popular thing to do. Let’s continue to change lives baby,” the Pro Football Hall of Fame and 2x Super Bowl champion wrote on his social media. Maybe now people will forget his move to a Division 1 Pac-12 team after crushing the HBCU’s dreams.

Deion Sanders may not be so giving on Christmas to his current batch of Colorado commits. In a viral video, days after his arrival at the University of Colorado Buffaloes football program, Deion told his current batch of players to enroll themselves in the transfer portal and look for other teams. Coach Prime made it crystal clear that he will be bringing his own luggage in his “Louis Vuitton.”
The Buffaloes ended with a 1-8 record this Pac-12 season and lost to Utah in the ultimate game. And understandably, Deion Sanders will make his changes. His first point of action was to get his son, Shedeur Jackson. Shedeur was JSU’s quarterback in their consecutive 12-0 seasons the past two years. One of the commits who definitely have to find a new team is a three-star defensive end, Carson Mott. “I guess I didn’t fit the description of what he wanted. I had a feeling that my commitment wasn’t going to be honored,” Mott said.

Now that Deion is in Colorado, he can even decide to help out the Denver Broncos in their abysmal run this season after HC Nathaniel Hackett was fired earlier today. The former Dallas Cowboys and 49ers CB cum wide receiver certainly has expertise in turning the table wherever he goes. But this holiday season, Prime Time is just focusing on spreading some love.
