Shedeur Sanders has recently not only surprised the fans but also his father, Deion Sanders. Before the Colorado Buffaloes‘ match against the Nebraska Cornhuskers began, Shedeur was extremely infuriated. Feeling ‘extreme disrespect’ from the Nebraska team and their head coach, the quarterback made a two-word comment that caught everyone’s attention.
Before the game started, Nebraska’s coach Matt Rhule called his entire team out of midfield and huddled on the new Buffaloes’ logo. Shedeur believed it was utterly disrespectful and broke up the team’s meeting on the spot. Even though Coach Rhule claimed that he did not mean any disrespect and had never done so before, the quarterback expressed his displeasure regarding the coach’s approach. Meanwhile, Deion Sanders had no idea all of that happened and was very stunned when he did.

“I didn’t hear about it until I saw it on Shedeur’s presser. I didn’t know all that transpired,” said Deion with great astonishment. “All I know is during the game Shedeur made that like Heisman-type scramble and threw the extra point in. He took off his helmet and he was strutting. I said, ‘Come here, boy’ and I turned into a dad for a minute. I said ‘Son, you cannot do that. You cannot take off your helmet.’ He said ‘Dad, it’s personal’ and he ran off. It was really authentic.”
After that transpired, the match went really well for the Colorado Buffaloes. It seemed like Shedeur was really determined to attain victory over Nebraska. Not to mention, he actually did.
