Colorado Buffaloes are ruling college football these days. Never have there been times when people were so interested in college football. Deion Sanders came as a savior for the waning football team, especially after the last three electrifying games. Prime Time and his squad have got the attention of a lot of big shots in the NFL space. But it wasn’t like that before the Coach came to the city of Boulder, and Sanders revealed it all.

Sanders has brought his expertise to the game and has turned the team into winners. That too in a very short amount of time. But this wasn’t the case before his arrival and the team had to reshuffle a lot of pieces to get to where they are now. What Coach Prime revealed in a recent interview tells us all about his vision for the team.

Deion Sanders is the force behind the Buffs!

Sanders recently appeared in an interview on 60 Minutes and revealed his reasons for joining the team as a coach. It should be noted that before his arrival the team had been struggling and had only won 1 game last season. The reporter mentioned this fact to Sanders and asked if this was the main reason that he joined the Buffaloes. Coach Prime replied by saying, “God won’t relocate me to something that was successful, that don’t make sense, do it? He had to find the most disappointing and the most difficult task and this is what it is, and I love that.”

Given his history, the coach has done the same with Jackson State University and improved their football program by a mile. But he left the JSU because their vision didn’t align with Coach Prime. But when he left, he took some players along with some of the JSU staff to Colorado with him, giving them an opportunity to thrive. Also, he encouraged athletes from Colorado to enter the transfer portal for better opportunities. The coach revamped the whole team after 50 students transferred.

Coach Prime is the USP of the Buffs’ squad!

Ever since the coach moved to Colorado, college football hasn’t been the same. Apparently, a lot of people did not like what was happening in Colorado. Coaches like Jay Norvell and Matt Rhule started taking shots at the coach. He replied to each one of them by winning those games against the opposition. He even got support from the likes of Shannon Sharpe, Michael Irvin, and even Stephen A. Smith with a lot of other celebrities.

Even legendary college football coaches like Nick Saban hold Deion Sanders in high regard. They have made a couple of appearances together in commercials and as commentators. He also congratulated Sanders on getting Travis Hunter into the Colorado Buffaloes, as he is one of the most sought-after college football athletes right now.

It looks like Coach Prime taking over the Buffaloes and revamping the whole squad turned out to be a good thing for the team. The results are quite transparent. Colorado Buffaloes has gone from one of the worst teams to a very promising one, and for some, it may even be a very strong Pac-12 contender.
