Sanders, who took over as head coach of the Buffaloes in December, brought with him some top talents he recruited while at Jackson State, including his son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders. He also brought in cornerback and wide receiver Travis Hunter, the No. 1 player in the class of 2022. Sanders also recruited 5-star cornerback Cormani McClain to join Hunter in the secondary.
