The backup QB was involved in the rescue of three victims of a helicopter crash. Like a knight in shining armor (replace the horse with a jet ski), Gabbert was lauded for his heroic efforts. Despite the public appreciation, he shifted focus to the first responders who took over the situation. Needless to say, the 34-year-old became a crowd favorite.
