Tom Brady’s throw to Mike Evans
During the third play, wide receiver Mike Evans blew past Carolina defenders to catch Brady’s throw in an open field. What could’ve been the easiest touchdown became an offensive nightmare when Evans bobbled and eventually dropped the ball.
Fans took to the internet and speculated about Brady’s reaction to the drop. In the post-game conference, Tom Brady was asked about Evans’ blunder.
He said, “You know that’s one play you know there’s a lot of other plays too, so it’s never one play it’s a lot of plays, and yeah it’s just we’re not playing the way we’re capable of it’s pretty obvious.”
Fans know what the Bucs are capable of doing. Their success two seasons ago is proof of what they can accomplish as a unit.“I think we just all have to do our job better,” he added. While the situation does not look reassuring, the Tampa Bay quarterback believes they can do better.
