Just a few days after Kyler Murray pulled out mentions of Arizona Cardinals from his Instagram, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel became the latest NFL star to wipe his club’s name from Social media. Recently, he claimed that his actions didn’t go well with some of the fans.
The receiver is alleged to have indulged in extension talks with the Niners. He will be entering the last year of his rookie contract, and if he fails to reach an agreement, Samuel will be an unrestricted free agent by next year.

The WR is entering the fourth and final year of the contract he signed with the Niners in 2019. As a result, he wants the organization to evaluate its worth for the upcoming seasons. According to Tony Pauline, Samuel is looking to hit $25 million a year with the Niners. If the deal doesn’t work out, Samuel will be a free agent, and the Niners may lose an elite receiver from their roster.
Amid this contract extension talks, Samuel removed all the information and bio-related to the 49ers from his social media handles which probably irked the fans fearing that the team may lose him. But the former South Carolina alumnus seems confident about getting a new home in the upcoming season.
