Deebo Samuel injury report
Deebo Samuel missed the Niners‘ win over the reigning Super Bowl champions Los Angeles Rams due to a hamstring problem. He returned to play the next two games for the franchise. But the problem seems to have resurfaced again, throwing him onto the injury report.
#49ers injury report for Sunday:
DL Arik Armstead (foot, ankle) – Doubtful
WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring) –
Questionable— Lindsey Pallares (@lindseylares) November 25, 2022
Samuel is listed as questionable for the Niners’ week 12 game against the Saints. But head coach Kyle Shanahan told the press that Samuel’s hamstring problem is not the same that made him sit out of the Rams matchup. “No. It’s something different,” Shanahan said. The HC added that the team was just being safe about their offensive weapon.“We got back [from Mexico City] at seven in the morning. I’m sure he went home and slept for a while. It was a little weird day. Didn’t feel much on Tuesday. Got the information on Wednesday and then we were safe about him,” the Niners HC added.

The Niners have had a decent 2022 season so far. Their offensive line has created problems for the opponents with their ability to keep them guessing. Both their running game and the passing game have been phenomenal. While RB Christian McCaffrey has a big role in it, Deebo Samuel has also been an important cog in the well-oiled machine that the Niners have become.
The wide receiver has caught 41 receptions this season so far for a total of 468 Samuel has attempted 69 receptions till week 11. He averages 11.4 yards per reception and has scored two receiving touchdowns. Samuel has a running game in him too with 202 rushing yards in 31 attempts, averaging 6.5 yards per carry. He has two rushing touchdowns to his name. The Niners will miss such a multifaceted player if he does end up sidelined against the Saints.
