The NFL Draft Week has begun with a full-fledged knock. Standout rookies look ready to raise the standards of the NFL, with many of them landing on new teams. However, this doesn’t divert any attention from the free agents and the ones whose presence looks questionable. Most notably, Deebo Samuel, who asked for trade not too long ago. Although, his merchandise tells us some other narrative.

The bulk of the NFL cosmos expected Deebo Samuel would be traded during the 2022 NFL Draft. However, nothing of such sorts happened. The franchise considers him to be a major game-changer due to his hybrid ‘wide back’ skills. Moreover, losing him would have a great upset on the franchise, leaving a void in the starting offense.

Contrary to the trade demands and the hullabaloo concerning the 49ers’ All-Pro wide receiver, the team can afford to be flexible with him. His merchandise appears to be handing out free huge signals that he will remain in San Francisco.

Paparazzi recently photographed WR Deebo Samuel at an event. We see him wearing a black t-shirt featuring a graphical illustration of him, with the lines, “Deebo Samuel is Back.” The t-shirt happens to be the newest line in Samuels’ merchandise. He also dons a black cap, a studded chain with a number ’19’ pendant, and a silver watch.

One of the major features of the 2022 offseason has been the raging debate surrounding Deebo’s demand for a move. Despite his puncturing a nightclub with a ‘neck cut’ gesture, this appears to be a key signal about his uncertain future.

Was Deebo Samuel on the market for the Jets?

Various teams in the NFL look towards Deebo Samuel as a ‘hot asset’ this year. Most notably, the New York Jets and the Detroit Lions also placed an offer to the 49ers. According to Ian Rapoport, the Jets were ready to offer the 10th overall pick to San Francisco for Deebo Samuel in a package.

However, it looks like Kyle Shanahan isn’t willing to give him up. NY went on picking OSU speedster, Garrett Wilson as the 10th overall pick.

Even if Samuel does get traded, the Tampa Bay looks like a perfect fit for him. The WR is by far the most critical risk Tom Brady has ever encountered. In reality, Brady has won titles with targets who are not really deemed real No. 1, so Samuel can be even more beneficial to Brady’s passing attack.
