Deebo Samuel was no less than a tiger during his Wild Card matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. He made some significant plays throughout the game and won the San Francisco 49ers a 17-23 ticket to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. It was surely a remarkable day for the wide receiver and, in the end, certainly a lucky one too. But did that luck come from Tiger Woods?

According to a recent picture shared on Twitter, the 26-year-old was seen wearing the signature Sunday red T-shirt of Tiger Woods as his undershirt during the game. Clearly, Deebo wanted some luck from the GOAT of Golf, especially on a day when the Niners were meeting the deadly Cowboys.

Apparently, that T-shirt might have some mystical powers that the receiver was in search of. Tiger Woods has won all his 82 PGA Tours while donning that red T-shirt. And clearly, Deebo attained those powers too. As much as an amazing athlete that Deebo is, he left no stones unturned while providing his team with a win.

Deebo had a special role to play in the offense on Sunday. The wide receiver finished totaling more rushing numbers than receiving. That most certainly came as a surprise to the Cowboys. He recorded 72 rushing yards in 10 carries for a touchdown while running the ball. He made 32 yards for three receptions and no touchdowns while receiving.

However, in the end, it was luck that came in handy. The game came to a controversial end favoring the Niners. When the referee halted the play to mark the ball in the right position before the snap, it cost the Cowboys some valuable seconds. The officiating crew was then questioned by many. However, they operated well within the books.

It was surely a near escape for the Niners, or should it be said that it was the effect of the Tiger red? No one really knows that for sure. But one thing is known for certain that San Francisco is going to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. They will be meeting the mighty Green Bay Packers next week.
