San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel is truly a great team player and believes in his QB Jimmy Garoppolo. The versatile and standout performer for San Francisco, Samuel was pointing out how Garoppolo has been part of so many victories. He believes his QB is getting some unnecessary stick despite enjoying success with the 49ers. While Deebo does have a case, critics have a completely different point of view on Garoppolo’s victories.

He does have a high winning percentage in his position like Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, Lamar Jackson, and Roger Staubach. He is going to lead his franchise to their 2nd straight NFC Championship game in 3 years. While he is currently 37-15 in terms of career record including playoffs, the statistic is widely seen to be useless. The stat doesn’t clearly discuss Jimmy G’s impact on the team which has been the argument.

He is widely considered to be more of a passenger rather than the driver of San Francisco’s victories. The 49ers have historically won their games in spite of him throwing for only 200 yards. The 2019 season does really capture how the team isn’t really affected by Jimmy G’s contributions.

Deebo Samuel Believes In Jimmy Garoppolo

NFL analysts do believe that if any other QB plays in the 49ers team, they win as many or more games. Jimmy G isn’t really a needle mover in terms of winning football games and doesn’t have statistics or performances to back himself. It is true factually that he is the San Francisco 49ers QB but not someone who is a born leader. It is the team that carries him rather than how NFL QBs carry their teams.

Well, once again the spotlight will be on Jimmy G as he will face QB Matthew Stafford‘s Los Angeles Rams. It will be another moment for Jimmy G to prove he isn’t the limiting factor in his franchise.
